Development and characterization of a humidity measurement system based on polymeric hydrogels Hydrogel thin films react to a humid environment with a quick change in thickness. Based on this behaviour it is possible to create humidity measurement system with a fast response time. Objective of this Master's thesis is a proof of concept for a humidity sensor by finding an appropriate measurement technique for industrial applications. Promising methods are laser and white light interference based on Fresnel equations for thin films. |
