How (not) to present I will briefly present some do's and don't of giving presentations. We will discuss what the expectations of the presenter and the audience are, how short talks differ from long presentations or thesis defenses, and how slides should be structured so that they are easy - and convenient - to follow. To illustrate my point, I will also show some of the worst slides we've seen during conferences. |
