Viscoelastic behavour of paper

11:15 - 12:15 Wednesday 05 February 2020 PH 01 1 50 The border between the elastic and the plastic region of UNUT paper has been investigated with the result that no real elastic region exists.
Two theoretical paper models has been inproved with the experimental data obtained at various relative humidities. One based on plasticity using an independent plastic model. The other one based on viscoelasticity using a Maxwell model.
Oscillation experiments in terms of frequency sweep measurements has been made with various humidities to get a better understanding of what is hapening in paper during this measurements. Also a first try to creat a mastercurve based on time-humidity-superposition has been done (instead of TTS). It seems that paper is not masterable but further experiments on this topic has to be done.
