µCT applications in materials science - An insight into the Graz-µCT consortium X-ray computed tomography is an imaging method that allows us to see inside an object by obtaining information from outside, i.e., non-destructively. In this seminar, I will outline the activities of the first two years of the Graz µCT laboratory. I will focus on our efforts to study subjects across engineering, food, biological, and geological construction materials. Finally, I will show this technique's limitations and future optimizations. |
